United Way of Greater Stark County
During my senior year, I was the marketing & communications intern for United Way of Greater Stark County. This experience was pivotal in my learning as a professional, as I worked under the guidance of the Marketing Manager and closely with the marketing team to assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns, communication strategies, and promotional activities. I conducting market research, drafted content for various channels, created social media posts, and assisted in event planning and coordination. In this role, I was able to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing and communications including playing a crucial role in the organization's rebrand, digital marketing, public relations, and content creation. Contributions to real-world projects helped drive brand awareness, community engagement, and cultivate business growth whilie gainaing valuable experience in the field of marketing and communications.
The mug project was a project I developed, bringing awareness to children in poverty. These mugs were part of our new rebrand, "When I Grow Up Starts Today" in an effort to connect children in low-income communities to resources in the area.
